ASSISTANT PROGRAM COORDINATOR’S (A.P.C.) JOB DESCRIPTION
- Responsible for Worship Leadership and preparation for summer
- Gives leadership and assistance to Asst. Director for all areas of afternoon
recreation
- Is responsible for creating power point program and leading camper
orientation presentation on first day of each camp
- Is responsible for organizing leading recreation orientation on the first
day of camp
- Shuts down camp (lights off) and trouble-shoots camper issues late night;
this is shared with interns as per his direction to them
- Gives assistance to mentoring of "The 12"
- No job too small
- Checks with speakers prior to each Pow Wow to determine needs and adjusts
worship length accordingly
- Manages all logistics of Pow Wow including Power Point set up for music
lyrics, run movie clips for speaker if needed, and manages sound system
- Maintains and keeps up with all Lakeview electronic equipment; video
projector, sound system, cd player, video/dvd player
- Is in charge of movie night set up, instructions, and supervision each week.
- Provides spiritual leadership and guidance to staff as needed
- Is a role-model as a follower of Jesus Christ at all times.
