Administrative Assistant Job Description

from summer to summer;
however, this does give a general idea of what is expected.
- To attend pre-camp staff training session (ten days).
- Provides assistance and hospitality for adult leaders and camp speakers as
assigned and as needed.
- Contacts, trains and assists camp nurse each week.
- Wake up campers on the P.A. each morning and then announce time for Morning
Watch or breakfast before inspecting of cabins begins.
- Oversees Cabin Cleanup and Mail collections and distribution.
- Provides support to Office Manager in all areas of office management
- Assists Director with details of staff assignments, registration
organization, staff accountability issues, and other needs as assigned by
Director.
- Assists "The 12" Coordinator with child-care and is involved as
needed in assisting her with special needs relative to her work.
- Set up program registration tables on Registration Day
- Coordinates with Camp Photographer about slide show with music on last night of camp
or last morning.
- Tracks follow-up with staff (accountability) and orders follow-up books as
needed
- Manages and edits "Summer Staff Reflections" as summer progresses;
monitors staff progress on this.
- Prepares thank you cards for Director for each speaker and nurse.
- Serves as camp receptionist in morning hours during camp when
Office Manager is not available.
- Participates in relational ministry aspects of camp program as needed.
- Is a role-model as a follower of Jesus Christ at all times.
