For Children Ages 7-11

The activities for Junior Camps are numerous and indescribably fun! Children can enjoy morning activity classes including a wide variety of options such as swimming, tennis, beach volleyball, basketball, crafts, riflery, archery, and several others. Pow Wows (worship services) each day feature some of the country’s most gifted and interesting presenters of God’s Truth for children. There will be times alone with God each morning, Bible study, Kids Praise singing and much more to build the faith of children in an environment of nonstop enjoyment. Theme Night

Theme night takes place one night during supper and campers are encouraged to dress in their favorite themed outfit.  This will be an opportunity for campers to have fun and show their creativity. This year's Junior Camp Theme--"Family Feud Game Night".

The Sunshine Club

For junior campers ages 7 & 8 who will be attending any of the camps for ages 7-11 at LFR, we have made some important changes. This age group will be required to stay in a cabin with their own age group and they will be given a special camp schedule, age-appropriate Bible study curriculum, and continuous supervision for the entire camp. Due to their special developmental needs, we will be requiring more rest times and less late night activities for them. Also, we will have a special counselor and club leader giving them the care and supervision that they need. The Sunshine Club aims to shine the light of Jesus brightly!

Camp Speakers

Jesse Joyner, aka "Jesse the Juggler" is a normal guy who loves God, his wife Sarah, and juggling (in that order). Convinced that Jesus Christ is the only way out of this world’s mess, Jesse uses his juggling as a channel through which he teaches about God’s love through Jesus Christ.
