building relationships for eternal impact

Summer 2025 Recap

75 Years of God’s Grace

Our 75th summer at Lake Forest Ranch was a celebration of God's unwavering faithfulness — not just over the past few months, but over the past 75 years. With the theme "Grace Alone," we watched that truth play out across every camp, every cabin, every conversation.

Ten camps. Hundreds of campers. Dozens of churches and leaders. Countless moments where God's grace met us — in PowWow, in Bible study, around the firepit, at morning watch, and in the quiet of 1-on-1s. We saw lives changed, burdens lifted, and hope renewed through the power of the Gospel.

For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.” — Ephesians 2:8-9

There were new additions this year — like cabin firepits for s'mores, and a "hockey team" that almost ‘won back glory’, and so much more — but the heart of LFR stayed the same: "building relationships for eternal impact".

To our summer staff who served with joy, grit, and humility: thank you. To our speakers, churches, and praying friends: thank you. And to the Father who carried us through every moment: all glory to You.

We're grateful beyond words for what He's done this summer. Want to see more? Check out the photo gallery and highlight videos to relive the moments.

Summer 2026 Schedule

COMING SOON

What’s the difference between each camp?

  • Ages 7-12

The activities for Kids Camps and Preteen Camp are numerous and indescribably fun! Kids can enjoy morning activity classes including a wide variety of options such as swimming, tennis, beach volleyball, basketball, crafts, archery, and several others. Pow Wows (worship services) each day feature some of the country’s most gifted and interesting presenters of God’s Truth for kids. There will be times alone with God each morning, Bible study, Kids Praise singing and much more to build the faith of kids in an environment of nonstop enjoyment.

  • AGES 12-18

LFR is not a conference like many summer events for youth, but rather it is truly a summer camp experience for church youth groups. While conferences may focus on large group energy, the focus at LFR is the one-on-one evangelism, mentoring, and discipleship of young people led by godly college age staff members. An LFR Student Camp could be compared to a week-long “Disciple Now” only a lot more fun. There is so much that your students get to do. Special recreation opportunities for this age group include high energy team competition events each morning and a unique game of Archery Tag. We provide ropes course elements, tubing behind our ski boat, tournaments, swimming, boating, and much more. One of the best activities will be getting to just hang around with the awesome staff members at LFR!

  • What is Tribe?

Get your littlest campers ready for a fun and exciting time with “Tribe”! Tribe is geared perfectly for kids campers ages 7 & 8 - we have age appropriate interactive Bible studies, Teepee pow wows, group activities, fun games, special snacks, water activities, all the regular camp fun plus carefully selected fun-loving godly leadership (Tribe Leaders and Tribal Chiefs), and there’s so much more! Seven and eight year old campers are all automatically placed in this wonderful camp track. Trust us, all 7 & 8 year old campers won’t want to miss out on all the fun for our youngest campers.
